Laden container handling & storage
Resulting from the duel influences of capacity constraints within the container terminals in Dublin Port, and, evolution in supply chain models, off dock container storage is now a growing requirement in the greater Dublin area.
DNFS are in the position to handle and store both empty and laden containers, both dry boxes and reefers.
Our aspiration is to service this demand. We see our service offering as being the flexibility and elasticity in cargo storage which both importers and exporters need to contend with cargo flows which do not correspond with:
- Free time on quay in the container terminals.
- Earliest permissible laydown date on quay for export containers.
- Warehouse capacity availability in organisations facilities.
- Intake/output capacity at manufacturing/storage facilities.
To control and manage inbound containers and outbound containers and stock volumes, DNFS utilise Softpak container management software. The EDI and web portal features of this software permits our clients effortless management and control of their containerised cargo.
